Roma defender Evan Ndicka insists he didn’t commit fouls on Yann Bisseck or Denzel Dumfries in a 1-0 win over Inter, where the Nerazzurri appealed for two penalty kicks.

Ndicka spoke about the potential penalty incidents during a post-match interview with DAZN.

“To me, it’s not a penalty. We were two meters away from the goal; I had to do something,” he said via TMW.

“It’s man-to-man marking. For me, it’s not a foul.”

The 25-year-old has been a regular starter under Claudio Ranieri this season.

“He makes decisions, and for me, it’s a pleasure to play for Roma,” the defender said.

“It’s not pleasant to defend deep, but we do it. We are all happy. For the table, for the win and for the fans who were not there today, these are three crucial points.”
