Join us for all the build-up and action as it happens from the Nations League semi-final between Italy and Spain.

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

The winners go on to face either Belgium or France in the Final on Sunday, while the losers go into the third place clash on the same day.

This is a repeat of the UEFA EURO 2020 semi-final played in early July, which saw the Azzurri triumph on penalties.

Roberto Mancini’s men are on an all-time world record run of 37 games unbeaten, stretching back to October 2018.

These nations have a completely even record, with 11 wins each and 16 draws, Italy scoring 44 goals and Spain 41.

  1. I feared using the same players and tactics would become stale, and boy after the last qualifying round last month and this game, there is no question that is the case.

Mancini needs to stay progressive if he wants to qualify/compete for the world cup.

*We need to integrate Di Marco and Calabria into the team and give them more experience

*The Jorginho/Veratti love affair needs to wind down. It is time for Locatelli, Tonali, Pellegrini, Frattesi to be integrated into the team much more.

*Thank immobile for his commitment to the Nazionale cause. It is time to keep him phased out. And it is time for Insigne to bow out. There are plenty of young guns ready to replace those two.

  2. @Azzurri Lover and Joe del Monte…

Agree with both of your comments!

Now, we can focus on the actual task of attempting to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Would have liked for us to win this, however, it is time to readjust.
