These sides drew 1-1 back on June 4 in Bologna, which was the first game of this new era that has so far proved impressively effective.

Roberto Mancini has given numerous players their debuts, including some who never even played in Serie A.

Among those is Gnonto, the Inter youth academy product now playing for FC Zurich, and he partners Sassuolo’s Raspadori and Napoli winger Matteo Politano upfront.

Milan’s Davide Calabria and Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni start with Roma pair Leonardo Spinazzola and Gianluca Mancini.

Germany also rotate after three draws in as many Nations League matches, which currently has them in third place behind Hungary.

There is a very Chelsea feel to their attack this evening, with both Timo Werner and their former defender Antonio Rudiger.
