Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has become the latest Serie A star to suffer a burglary after his home was broken into recently.

Corriere dello Sport details how the 29-year-old is currently on holidayat the Costa Smeralda in Sardinia, leaving his home in Naples empty.

Thieves broke into his home in recent days and stole a number of goods. The car he’d parked outside was stolen as well but was found nearby.

The Carabinieri opened their case this morning and are now working on drawing up a list of the stolen goods, hoping to recover as much as possible.

Serie A players are becoming common targets of theft and burglary. Earlier this season, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s car was stolen, something that Roma’s Mady Camara also suffered.

Thieves also attempted to break into Angel Di Maria’s home in Turin, but their efforts were wasted as he was home with teammate Dusan Vlahovic and their families.
