Napoli right-back Kevin Malcuit has pledged his international allegiance to Morocco.

Malcuit was born in France and had spent his entire career in the country, prior to joining Napoli in the summer of 2018.

However, the 28-year-old never represented Les Bleus and he has now accepted a call-up from Morocco.

He is joined in their latest squad by Verona midfielder Sofian Amrabat, Genoa defender Jawad El Yamiq and Sassuolo’s Mehdi Bourabia.

Malcuit was also eligible for the Mauritanian national team through his father.
