Sassuolo are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a €13m fee with Napoli for Romania defender Vlad Chiriches.
According to Tuttosport, the two clubs only need to ratify the deal over e-mail after Napoli agreed to come down from their initial asking price of €15m.
Sassuolo have been in the market for a new centre-back all summer after losing Merih Demiral to Juventus.
Chiriches, for his part, joined the Partenopei from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2015.
