Napoli could turn to Torino's Matteo Darmian should their deal for Empoli's Elseid Hysaj fall through.

The Partenopei have shown a strong interest for the Albanian fullback alongside the Blues' Riccardo Saponara, but the operation may not prove straightforward.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis reportedly sees these prices as excessive and may turn to Torino's Darmian instead.

In order to pry the Granata jewel away, De Laurentiis may be willing to offer Duvan Zapata, who is already the object of Sampdoria's desire.

Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi said that offers for their international fullback must start at €20m.

Should this deal not seem feasible either, De Laurentiis is believed to be considering Sassuolo's Sime Vrsaljko.
