Napoli’s primary transfer target now is Tanguy Ndombele and they’re reportedly working hard to close out a deal after Tottenham accepted the idea of a loan.
The Partenopei are currently working on selling midfielder Fabian Ruiz to Paris Saint-Germain and things are progressing well with the Parisians, suggesting that a deal could be completed at some point next week. To shore up Luciano Spalletti’s midfield, Napoli are hoping to bring in Ndombele, who is looking to relaunch his career after a tough time in North London.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli received a boost after Tottenham agreed to let Ndombele leave the club on loan this summer. The two sides still need to discuss the details of the formula, but things are looking positive.
The Campania side still need to agree personal terms with the 25-year-old Frenchman, and his €8m net per season salary make things difficult. It seems likely that Spurs will contribute to this in order to facilitate a deal.
Further talks have been scheduled for next week and Napoli are refusing to give up in their chase of the former Lyon man.
