Two in-form sides meet at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Sunday and these Napoli vs. Roma predictions show that it should be the home side celebrating yet another victory at the end.

Napoli vs. Roma odds

1 – Napoli to win – 3/4

2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 10/11

3 – Both teams to score – 10/11

4 – Victor Osimhen to score at any time – 6/4

5 – Napoli to win 2-1 – 15/2

Naples hosts a very intriguing clash on Sunday, with the Partenopei welcoming Jose Mourinho’s Roma to town. Both clubs have been looking very good this season and neither will want to drop points this weekend.

But it is Napoli who are the favourites to possibly extend their lead at the top of the Serie A table. There has only been that one defeat to Inter to blemish their record this season and even an in-form Roma should not be able to stop them from collecting three more points towards a possible scudetto.

If Napoli do win, it will probably be because Victor Osimhen has scored again. He is looking very dangerous this season and is a good bet to find the net against Roma.

The Giallorossi could well make this one interesting though. Mourinho has seemingly decided to get on without Nicolò Zaniolo, who looks like leaving the club. But he does have some other very good attacking players – and Tammy Abraham is returning to form as well.

Even though Roma should make a game of this one, it is unlikely that they will be able to do what no other club has managed to do this season and beat Napoli on their home turf.

But the visitors have closed the gap on the rest of the top four, meaning that Champions League qualification could well be on the cards. This may end in defeat, but the season is looking good for Roma.

Napoli team news

Luciano Spalletti has not been forced to make many changes to his winning side this season. But he has had to make do without Georgian sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for the last two games because of an illness. He could be fit to return here though.

Roma team news

Jose Mourinho will have to do without Turkish international Zeki Çelik who has picked up a one-match suspension, so there will need to be a rejig of his starting XI. Tammy Abraham has looked better in the last few games though, so he should start up front again.
