It’s also fair to say Umtiti hasn’t been living up to expectations lately, suffering from injuries and poor form, making just 16 competitive appearances for Barcelona this season.
Manchester United also see Umtiti as an alternative to their first choice Koulibaly, who would cost well over €100m.
