Napoli will wear a special edition jersey for tonight’s Coppa Italia game against Cremonese, a big kiss marking St Valentine’s Day and proceeds going to charity.

The Round of 16 tie kicks off at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at 20.00 GMT.

The club announced the use of the jersey via their social media channels, in white with red sleeves and trim, plus a big lipstick kiss mark on the torso.

As of last season, Napoli have been producing their own kits in conjunction with Armani and that allowed them to release several special edition jerseys that are worn a handful of times.

At least there is a charitable aim to this particular version, as sales for the match-worn kits will go to various local charities helping women who are subjected to domestic abuse.

  1. These might be the worst Napoli kits I have ever seen in my entire life. I could design a better kit in Photoshop in 10 minutes. I like the idea of having Valentine’s kits but my gosh. This looks like a Serie C team trying to gain revenue anyway possible, not the league leaders and hottest team in the world at the moment.
