Napoli to sell Fabian Ruiz, reject Monaco bid for Anguissa

While Fabian Ruiz has been put on the transfer market by Napoli, they have rejected an offer from AS Monaco for Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa.

Multiple sources claim today that Paris Saint-Germain are close to agreeing a deal for Fabian Ruiz, who has been placed on the exit list because his contract only runs to June 2023 and there is little hope for an extension.

On the other hand, Footmercato maintain that Anguissa is not for sale and that an approach from AS Monaco was turned down.

The 26-year-old Cameroon international is still under contract until June 2026, having made the move from Fulham at a cost of €15.6m, initially on loan and then permanently.

It would’ve been a return to France for Anguissa, who came through the Stade Reims and Olympique Marseille academies.

He made 30 competitive appearances in the Napoli jersey last season, contributing two assists.

There were a few muscular issues and he was out for a month to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations.
