Napoli will target Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenković if Kalidou Koulibaly leaves, according to reports in Italy.

The Senegal defender appears to be close to a switch to the Bianconeri if recent claims in Italy are to be believed.

And Il Corriere dello Sport report that, while Napoli are on the verge of signing Leo Skiri Østigård, the Genoa defender would still need a partner and their No. 1 objective would be Milenković.

However, Inter currently lead the race for the Serbia central defender, according to the report, with question marks over the future of Milan Škriniar and Stefan de Vrij.

Should Napoli fail land Milenković in the eventuality Koulibaly leaves, the report adds that Feyenoord’s Marcos Senesi would be their next option.

Milenković has been at Fiorentina since 2017 and has been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United in the past.

He has made 172 appearances and scored 14 goals for La Viola.

  1. C´mob Andrew Cesare Richardson, K2 would never go to Juve, to much BS in the silly season, 95% of all the rumors are all fake ones.

  2. I hope all the K2 and Mertens failure to re-sign isn’t more insecure Spalletti moves. We saw what he did to Totti and Roma just out of ego. Maybe he his trying to rid Napoli of players that fans love more than they do him. I know ADL can be a hard case to negotiate with. He too suffers from ego problems. From the other side I know he is looking at it from a business sense too. But stop leaving the fans wondering and just say what the intentions are.
