Napoli have reportedly agreed basic terms for Fiorentina midfielder Jordan Veretout, who was in the city earlier this week.
According to CalcioNapoli24, President Aurelio De Laurentiis and agent Mario Giuffredi discussed the situation in a meeting in Rome today.
Giuffredi was formally talking about the extension of contracts for Napoli full-backs Elseid Hysaj and Mario Rui.
However, he also took the opportunity to lay out the foundations of a future transfer for Veretout.

The 26-year-old dropped a few hints that he sees himself at the Stadio San Paolo, as this week he was on vacation in Naples and proposed to his girlfriend in the city.
Veretout scored five goals and provided four assists in 27 competitive appearances for Fiorentina this season.
He joined the Viola from Aston Villa for €7m in the summer of 2017.
