Napoli are reportedly edging closer to a deal for Keylor Navas after the latest round of talks with Paris Saint-Germain.

Partenopei director Maurizio Micheli was in the French capital yesterday to continue talks with PSG, discussing deals for both Navas and midfielder Fabian Ruiz, who is being shown the door in the Campania capital. Reports suggest that the two deals are not directly linked to each other.

As reported by La Repubblica, talks have continued between Napoli and PSG throughout today and things are moving forward well, with the French giants seemingly giving the green light for Navas’ move to Campania.

The 35-year-old Costa Rican shot stopper has already agreed personal terms with Napoli, dropping his current salary in order to help facilitate a move. Navas is keen for a breath of fresh air following a difficult year in Paris, where he was forced to share his starting spot with Gianluigi Donnarumma.
