Napoli are already starting to plan the celebrations for their third Scudetto as the team edge over closer to the Serie A title.
Luciano Spalletti’s side have been one of the most electric teams in Europe this season, easily flying to the top of the league table and the Champions League knock-out stages.
With 15 league games left to play this season, Napoli have a 15-point lead and one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after their 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, showing no signs of slowing down.
La Repubblica reports that an event is already being planned in the Piazza del Plebiscito on June 4, after the end of the season, to celebrate Napoli’s Scudetto. Popular singer-songwriter Gigi D’Alessio may also attend.
Another idea is to organise events in individual neighbourhoods to avoid overcrowding in the city centre. The city of Naples has a population of over three million and being a one-club city, hundreds of thousands would likely attend the party.
Other planning work is being carried out as well, from the traffic plan to public order management.
