Napoli are edging closer to reaching a deal with Angers for midfielder talent Azzedine Ounahi, who shined at the World Cup with Morocco.
The 22-year-old was a key part of the Atlas Lions squad at the tournament in Qatar, appearing in all of their games in their historic run to fourth. His work at the World Cup saw him attract the attention from clubs across Europe, with Napoli entering a race that includes Leicester City and Lyon.
As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Napoli are increasing their pace in an effort to beat out their competition for Ounahi. The Partenopei are edging closer to meeting Angers’ demands and they’re willing to leave him on loan with the Ligue 1 outfit until the summer.
The league leaders are willing to cut Diego Demme to make space for the Moroccan. Vincenzo Montella’s Adana Demirspor are keen to snap up the 31-year-old German, who is currently holding out for an offer from the Bundesliga.
