Napoli are reportedly keeping close tabs on Emile Smith Rowe as Arsenal weigh up a possible summer move for Victor Osimhen.

The Partenopei are planning to revitalise their squad this summer following the difficulties of their post-Scudetto campaign, needing to shake things up after finishing 10th in the Serie A table, missing out on European competition.

Napoli have accepted that Osimhen will likely leave this summer, possibly for his release clause worth circa €120-130m, and Antonio Conte is ready to take over in the dugout, showing the changes on the horizon.

Napoli look to Smith Rowe

Page nine of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Napoli are keeping a close eye on Smith Rowe ahead of the summer, appreciating his talents and aware of the transfer market opportunity. His current contract with Arsenal expires in June 2026.

With the Gunners weighing up a move for Osimhen in the summer, some form of swap deal could take place, although Aurelio De Laurentiis will likely push for the full €120-130m fee for the Nigerian striker.

  1. Smith Rowe is valued by Arsenal at €60 million. So may be a swap of smith Rowe plus €60 million for Osimhen.
