Napoli are preparing for the possible departure of Hirving Lozano and they’ve lined up Sassuolo’s Armand Laurienté as a replacement, reports suggest.

The 27-year-old Mexican forward only has around 18 months left on his contract with the Partenopei, making next summer the perfect time to cash in on the former PSV man. Lozano is one of the best paid players in the Napoli squad, earning around €6m gross per season, and is still in the sights on multiple Premier League clubs.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Napoli are gearing up for the possible sale of Lozano in the summer and they believe Sassuolo’s Laurienté would be the perfect replacement. Talks have already been opened with his entourage and a concrete offer may arrive in the summer, should the Mexican depart.

The 24-year-old French winger would cost around €20-25m in the summer and this figure could rise further should he continue impressing in the second half of the season. He has scored three goals and provided four assists in 12 appearances across Serie A and Ligue 1 this season.
