The report arrives a day after the Spaniard’s agent refused to rule out a move to the Nerazzurri by saying ‘if we get an offer, we’d evaluate it calmly.’

However, Gazzetta believes that Callejon remains an alternative to first-choice target Ivan Perisic and that a bid could arrive if their attempts to land the Wolfsburg man fail.
