Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne continued to train separately from the group today, same as Fabian Ruiz and Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Azzurri are preparing for Sunday’s key Serie A clash against Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
They have several players out of action, including Lorenzo Insigne, Fabian Ruiz and Kalidou Koulibaly.
All three players trained separately from the group this morning, Napoli announced in an official statement.
Insigne trained in the gym and ‘underwent treatment’, while Fabian and Koulibaly trained separately, but on the pitch, same as Victor Osimhen.
The Nigeria international is recovering from a cheekbone injury and doesn’t seem ready to return to the pitch.
Mario Rui and Stanislav Lobotka trained with the rest of the group and will be available against Milan on Sunday.
The Rossoneri have Ante Rebic, Rafael Leao and Pietro Pellegri out of action in attack, but Olivier Giroud returned to training at Milanello today and will start on the bench against the Partenopei.
