Napoli are offering to more than triple Kvicha Kvaratskhelia’s salary if he signs a new contract to June 2029, rebuffing interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the club is willing to propose a new deal worth €5m per season plus bonuses that could rise to €7m as the contract progresses.

Despite being a key figure in their Scudetto success, the Georgia international is still on the same basic salary he agreed when first making the move from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022.

That €1.8m deal makes him one of the lowest-paid players in the entire squad, which in turn boosted his determination to leave for Paris Saint-Germain.

Kvaratskhelia still on first Napoli contract

Napoli are discussing a new contract with his agent Mamuka Jugeli, who arrived in Italy over the last couple of days for face to face talks.

New coach Antonio Conte is determined to hold on to Kvaratskhelia and reject the reported €110m offer on the table from PSG.

It is rumoured that the Ligue 1 giants are ready to pay him €11m per season, which would be simply beyond Napoli’s capabilities.

  1. Napoli is very funny🤣 Do Kvara know how to play football? I watched him play all seasons. He only run around the field and he is very selfish
