Napoli have reportedly offered €20m plus €2m bonuses for Matteo Politano, but Sassuolo won’t let him go without a replacement.
The winger has made it perfectly clear he wants to join the Partenopei, as confirmed by the Neroverdi, but his club is refusing to release him.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest offer on the table is worth €20m plus another €2m in bonuses.
However, Sassuolo won’t let Politano leave until a replacement is lined up and the transfer deadline is tomorrow night.

The main target is Gianluca Caprari of Sampdoria, who is valued at around €12m, and there were even some suggestions Napoli could sign Caprari to turn him over to Sassuolo.
It’s claimed Politano is extremely anxious and fears missing out on this dream move to Napoli.
Although Juventus showed some interest too, he has his heart set on the Stadio San Paolo.
Considering Amin Younes appears to have postponed his transfer until June, as Ajax raised their €5m asking price and he’ll be a free agent come the end of the season, Napoli will have to go all out for Politano or be left empty-handed.
