Napoli have reportedly raised their bid for Nikola Maksimovic to €22m, but Torino are holding out for €25m.

The Serbia international is one of the Partenopei’s top targets for the January transfer window, after attempts to sign him during the summer failed.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the Azzurri have raised their offer to a bid worth €22m, comprised of a €19m upfront fee and €3m of bonuses.

However, Toro are holding firm on their €25m asking price, although the report suggests that they could be willing to lower their demands.
