According to this morning’s Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are pushing hard to sign the Lille man, and have made contact with the Ivorian.

Negotiating with his club will prove more difficult though, with Les Dogues demanding €60m plus Adam Ounas to sell.

Napoli are said to be the furthest down the path to signing Pepe, but they face competition from a number of big clubs.

Manchester United have been linked for some time, but Corriere dello Sport reports that Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Arsenal and Lyon are also keen.
