Napoli announce Hirving Lozano will be assessed in the coming days and according to Sky Sport Italia, the Mexico international doesn’t need to undergo surgery following a shoulder injury.
The 26-year-old suffered a shoulder dislocation while on international duty last week. There were fears he’d remain out of action for over two months following surgery, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the club will follow a conservative therapy for the Mexico international.
The Partenopei have released an official statement on the player’s fitness after today’s training session.
“Hirving Lozano is back in Naples and his fitness levels will be assessed by the club in the coming days,” the statement read.
Luciano Spalletti’s men are preparing for Saturday’s key Serie A clash against Inter.
“The session began with some rondos before a small-sided game,” Napoli’s statement continues.
“This was followed by extensive tactical work. Axel Tuanzebe took part in gym work.”
