Azzedine Ounahi seems set for a January transfer after an incredible World Cup and Napoli have submitted a concrete offer for the Moroccan.

The 22-year-old was one of the stars of the show for the Atlas Lions at the World Cup in Qatar, appearing in all of their games in their historic run to a fourth place finish. Ounahi has been quietly shining at Angers for a little while now but his work at the World Cup could be what takes him to the next level in his career.

As reported by L’Equipe, Napoli have looked to beat out their competition for Ounahi and have submitted a concrete offer to Angers. The Ligue 1 outfit want around €25m for the 22-year-old’s signature, an accessible price for the Partenopei.

Other clubs like Olympique Marseille and Leicester City are also keen and still in the race for the Moroccan’s signature. Strong competition is also coming from the Saudi-backed Almeria, who are owned by Turki Al-Sheikh.
