Fabrizio Romano reports that Napoli are prepared to sign David Neres and Billy Gilmour this week after reaching agreements with both players and will continue talks with Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku.

Antonio Conte’s Napoli are ready to complete two signings this week, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Napoli have reportedly reached agreements with both players and are confident of shaking hands with Benfica and Brighton in the coming days.

At the same time, Napoli will continue talks with Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku but they must sell Victor Osimhen before sending an official bid for the Belgian forward.

Osimhen hasn’t been involved in any pre-season game this summer, including Saturday’s Coppa Italia match against Modena which the Partenopei won on penalties.

Osimhen has a €130m clause included in his contract with Napoli, but no club has yet matched it. Lukaku has already been identified as the ideal replacement for the Nigerian striker at the Stadio Maradona.

  1. Worst scenario : Napoli signs Lukaku in the end. Lukaku fails to deliver. Conte makes excuses as always. ADL goes rampant. Conte vs ADL. Napoli fails to win any trophies. La vita è bella !!
