Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne joined his teammates for today’s training session, while the Partenopei have reportedly set their sights on three Empoli players.

Insigne missed Napoli’s match against Bologna on Sunday due to an adductor injury.

However, Luciano Spalletti hopes to see him return to action on Sunday for the Derby della Campania against Salernitana, provided it will go ahead.

“Lorenzo Insigne trained individually for some of the session and also joined up with his teammates for some of it,” Napoli statement read.

“David Ospina worked individually out on the pitch.”

Therefore, the Colombia international is unlikely to be available against Salernitana.

Meantime, the Partenopei are targeting possible reinforcements for Spalletti.

According to Calciomercato.com, Fabiano Parisi, Nedim Bajrami and Samuele Ricci are being scouted by Napoli.

All three players are expected to end the campaign in Tuscan and both Parisi and Bajrami have also been linked with Lazio.

According to the report, Bajrami has rejected a possible move to Sassuolo in January and his price tag exceeds €10m.
