Sky Sport Italia suggest these include a five-year contract worth €5m per season plus several bonuses and 50 per cent of his image rights.
There should also be a release clause worth €100m, slightly higher than that of Juventus-bound Gonzalo Higuain.
On top of all that is the promise of a cameo for Icardi and Wanda in Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis’ next movie.
He is a film producer and his movies regularly get huge ratings at Christmas, where they are something of a cultural tradition.
Inter seem determined to hang on to their star forward and the initial offer of €40m plus €2m bonuses was rejected out of hand.
It’s only a starting point in the negotiation process and Napoli could include Manolo Gabbiadini, a player Roberto Mancini has wanted at Inter from the beginning of his tenure.
