Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly recovered from the shoulder injury and returns from Belgium for Christmas.

The Partenopei striker has been out since the international break and his last match for the Azzurri was on November 8, when he scored in a 1-0 win over Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara.

He has since missed six Serie A games and four Europa League matches, but according to La Repubblica, he will be back when football resumes in January.

The newspaper claims he has recovered from his shoulder injury and will return from Belgium, where he travelled to receive therapy from a specialist.

He’s not expected to be ready for Napoli-Torino tomorrow, where coach Gennaro Gattuso must cope without Dries Mertens too.

The Belgian forward is expected to be out for another couple of weeks and might be back in the middle of January.
