Napoli are still in the running for Kim Min-jae, who is torn between the Campania side and Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.

TMW details how yesterday was supposed to be the decisive day for the 25-year-old Korean defender, but no decision was made as he’s still unsure which club to choose for the next step of his career.

Rennes technical director Florian Maurice flew to Turkey recently to try and speed up a deal with Kim, but that hasn’t bore fruit yet. The 25-year-old is expected to make his decision at some point in the coming days, with a move away from Fenerbahce all but certain at this stage.

Napoli are desperately searching for an adequate replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly, who completed his €40m move to Chelsea earlier today.

Kim had a good season last campaign at Fenerbahce, making 30 Super Lig appearances where he proved his mettle in a tough league.
