The 2011-12 Scudetto will be a battle between Napoli and Milan, says Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola.

Although both clubs have stuttered at times in the League this season, the Italian believes they'll rise to the top.

"I think the title could be between Napoli and Milan," the former Azzurri player told the Corriere dello Sport.

"It'll be a clash between a club who are insisting with their project and a club who are used to winning, a team who have a squad to be respected and a Coach who has been able to immediately settle.

"Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri, meanwhile, is proposing something new and interesting. They finished third last season and are doing well in the Champions League, he has a richer squad now."

Zola added that he likes the look of a few other top-flight sides, but believes they don't have enough to challenge until the very end.

"I'm intrigued by Roma," he added. "The arrival of Franco Baldini, one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to international football, is a guarantee.

"I wouldn't ignore Lazio” data-scaytid=”10″>Lazio either. Inter have quality players, but they are a bit behind in the standings."

The former Parma fantasista and ex-West Ham boss was also inevitably asked for his thoughts on the new Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus.

"They are in a phase of construction," he continued. "But I'm attracted by the decision to hire Antonio Conte.

"He has very clear ideas. But let us give him some time to give an identity to this side. Everyone is, sadly, always in a rush in Italy.

"You need a good dose of patience in football."
