According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have opened talks to sign Real Sociedad winger Adnan Januzaj as a free agent in the summer.

Scorer of four goals in 30 appearances across all competitions this season, the 26-year runs out of his contract on June 30.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have set their sights on the former Manchester United starlet and are considering signing him as a free agent at the end of the season.

Januzaj is one of the candidates to replace Lorenzo Insigne at the Stadio Maradona.

The Partenopei captain has already signed a contract with MLS side Toronto FC where he will move as a free agent at the end of the season.

Januzaj scored his first two goals with Manchester United in a 2-1 away win over Sunderland in October 2013.

However, he only scored five goals in 63 appearances with the Red Devils before joining Borussia Dortmund, Sunderland and Real Sociedad.

He has been playing in Spain since 2017, scoring 18 goals in 124 appearances.

Januzaj made his senior debut with Belgium in 2014 and has scored one goal in 13 appearances with his national team.
