Sky: Napoli ongoing talks for Spinazzola free transfer

Spinazzola’s contract with Roma expires at the end of the month, and he won’t sign a new deal with the Giallorossi.

New Napoli coach Antonio Conte is a long-time admirer of Spinazzola and could have worked with the defender in January 2020 when Inter and Roma discussed a swap deal with Matteo Politano, which eventually collapsed.

Spinazzola made 36 appearances with Roma in 2023-24, scoring one goal and providing four assists.

Napoli are drastically reshaping the team for their new coach, Conte, and their plans include keeping Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the club. President Aurelio De Laurentiis and director Giovanni Manna flew to Germany to meet the Georgia international on Thursday, reportedly taking some steps forward in contract extension talks.
