Napoli have reportedly raised their offer for KAA Gent midfielder Sven Kums to €6m.
The 28-year-old Belgian has been on their radar for several weeks and is also of interest to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are prepared to increase their proposal to €6m.
They see him as the suitable replacement for Mirko Valdifiori, who is close to Torino.
Kums is under contract with Gent until June 2019 and joined the club from Zulte Waregem two years ago.
