The Partenopei have signed Vlad Chiriches and Elseid Hysaj to reinforce the backline, but the man at the top believes further strengthening is required.
“We’re trying to plug the gap that still exists in defence,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“We’re trying to plug the gap that still exists in defence,” De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“I’m very happy with Hysaj, because he protects us from midfield to our goal, he doesn’t go bombing off toward the opposition goal.
“He never leaves us short in a back four, which is why we made this purchase, and we’re very happy.
“Now we have to target central defenders, and a possible addition on the flanks, let’s see what the market offers, while also not forgetting we have to make some sales.
“With the sporting director [Cristiano] Giuntoli, I don’t just talk about the transfer market, but about requirements.”
