Napoli move for Verona pair

Napoli could be set for a Verona double deal as it is reported they are also keen on Sofyan Amrabat’s teammate Amir Rrahmani.

It was revealed earlier that Napoli had offered €10m for Amrabat, who has also been linked with Fiorentina and Inter.

However, as per Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira, the Partenopei are also interested in Rrahmani.

The 25-year-old – a summer signing from Dinamo Zagreb – has been an ever-present in Verona’s central defence this season , starting all of their 14 games.

Schira adds the opening exchanges between the parties were “successful” ahead of the transfer window reopening in January.

Napoli could be among the busier sides in the market after they fined their entire first team for staging a mutiny against President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
