Gennaro Gattuso revealed after Napoli’s 2-1 win against Udinese that Mertens had taken ‘a knee to the backside’.
However, the forward has been passed fit for the trip to Parma, in a timely boost for Gattuso.
On the other hand, Ospina is ruled out with a thigh stain so teenager Hubert Idasiak takes his place as one of the three goalkeepers.
