Sky Sport Italia claims that Napoli have reached a full agreement for Billy Gilmour but are waiting for Brighton to replace their midfielder with Matt O’Riley, while Giovanni Manna will meet Chelsea directors for Romelu Lukaku today.

Napoli have reached an agreement to sign Gilmour from Brighton and are only waiting for the Premier League club to sign O’Riley from Celtic before organising medical tests for their new purchase.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli and Brighton have shaken hands, so the only piece missing now is the English club signing a replacement.

The leading candidate for Brighton is Celtic star O’Riley, who was previously in talks with Atalanta during the summer transfer window.

Sky adds that Napoli director Manna will also meet Chelsea directors in London in the coming hours.

Napoli are pushing to sign Romelu Lukaku but their latest offer was a transfer package worth €30m in a loan deal with obligation to buy.

Lukaku has a €43m clause included in his contract with The Blues.
