Napoli must deal with the injury of another top player as Zambo Anguissa has been ruled out for two or three weeks with adductor problems.

The Fulham loanee underwent medical examinations in the morning after sustaining an adductor problem in the final minutes of yesterday’s match against Inter.

Napoli have announced that the exams highlighted a lesion to the adductor of his left thigh.

According to reports in Italy, this means the 26-year-old will remain out of action for at least three weeks.

That’s one more bad news for Luciano Spalletti, who must cope without Victor Osimhen.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Nigerian striker was discharged from the hospital in Milan this morning. He suffered multiple facial fractures after an aerial duel with Milan Skriniar in Inter-Napoli last night.

The Nigerian striker has returned to Naples and will undergo surgery in the coming days.

He could remain out of action for over a month, but he would be in danger of missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations if there were problems during his recovery.
