It was reported this morning that a meeting would be held after the trip to Turin later this month, for what could be a Scudetto showdown with Juventus.

While Gazzetta dello Sport is keen to stress that Napoli want to keep Sarri, the newspaper says there are other names being considered as a plan B.

At the top of the list is Lazio’s Simone Inzaghi, with whom there has already been some contact via intermediaries.

The Biancocelesti are unlikely to let the former striker go easily though, and he’s under contract until 2020.

Sampdoria’s Marco Giampaolo is another option, and he’s made it clear that he would consider the job.

Foreign names are also being considered though, including Marcelino and Paulo Fonseca.
