The Georgian star suffered a minor injury during the latest international match against Albania. His national team coach, Willy Sagnol, said the talented winger had picked up a knock that caused him ‘acute pain’, forcing him to be subbed off.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Kvara has already undergone medical tests in Naples, which ruled out any significant problems for the 23-year-old star, who will resume training with the rest of the team today.

This means that he will be available for selection on Sunday against Cagliari.

Napoli have collected six points in the opening three Serie A games of the season, losing to Hellas Verona and beating Bologna and Parma.
