PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas has emerged as Napoli‘s priority target, so the Partenopei have put talks with Chelsea and Kepa Arrizabalaga on hold.

Luciano Spalletti wants a new goalkeeper following David Ospina’s departure at the end of his contract in June.

Alex Meret is still at the Stadio Maradona, but the Tuscan tactician doesn’t rely on the Italy international and is pushing to get a new face between the sticks.

Napoli and Chelsea have been in talks over Kepa’s possible loan move under the Vesuvius, but PSG’s Keylor Navas is believed to be the Partenopei’s favourite target.

Cristiano Giuntoli is already in talks with PSG, who are strongly interested in Fabian Ruiz. According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Spain international has already agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 giants.

It’s unlikely to see the two clubs include Navas in the agreement for Ruiz, but Napoli could still get the former Real Madrid star on loan or on a permanent deal for a low fee.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Il Corriere dello Sport, representatives of the two clubs will discuss Navas’ possible move to Napoli in the coming hours. As things stand, Kepa is Napoli’s No.2 target in goal.
