Napoli are looking around for possible replacements for Piotr Zielinski and believe Celta Vigo’s Gabri Veiga may be the perfect option.

The Partenopei are in a state of flux following their historic Scudetto success this season. Coach Luciano Spalletti has left the club, sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli may head to Juventus and defender Kim Min-Jae seems destined to make the jump to the Premier League.

Another player who could leave Napoli this summer is Zielinski, whose contract expires with the club next year. Maurizio Sarri is keen to bring the Pole to Lazio, forcing the Partenopei to start lining up replacements.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have identified Veiga as a strong option to replace Zielinski, but they’ll have to fight off competition from some top clubs around Europe. Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool are all also fans of the 21-year-old Spaniard.

Veiga, who is contracted to Celta Vigo until June 2026, scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 36 La Liga appearances this season.
