Inter are working hard to sign Gianluca Scamacca but now they have to be wary of Napoli, who have reportedly opened talks with Sassuolo.

The 23-year-old Italian forward has been one of the Nerazzurri’s most important targets in recent months and they’ve been in talks with both Sassuolo and the player’s entourage for a while now. He is having a good season for the Neroverdi, having scored 10 goals in 24 Serie A appearances so far this campaign.

As reported by Calciomercato.it, Napoli are incredibly keen to sign Scamacca and in the last few days they’ve started initial talks with Sassuolo. Whilst they have no plans to sell Victor Osimhen, they are preparing for Lorenzo Insigne’s eventual departure, and possibly Dries Mertens’ too.

Inter have reportedly offered around €30-40m for the 23-year-old Italian forward but Sassuolo aren’t keen to offer any discounts on a deal, so progress in the discussions has been a little slow.

  1. He is a talentless bum, just like petagna. Hopefully Napoli take him, would be doing inter a favour, they should be aiming higher than average serie a Joes.
