Reports in Portugal state that Napoli want to sign Porto’s Hector Herrera in a deal worth €25m.

The Partenopei are known to be in the market for a central midfielder and recently saw their attempts fail to bring in Corentin Tolisso from Lyon.

According to Record, Azzurri President Aurelio De Laurentiis has now made the Mexico international his number one choice.

The 26-year-old has been with his current club since 2013, with the Portuguese daily suggesting that the Dragoes are willing to do business.
