Napoli are reportedly meeting Domenico Berardi’s entourage, as they look to do a deal with Sassuolo.

The Neroverdi are interested in Duvan Zapata and Ivan Strinic, and have scheduled a meeting today to discuss the two players.

However, Rai Sport is reporting that Berardi’s people are also present, with the Partenopei interested in bringing him to Campania.

They value Zapata at around €25m and Strinic between €5-6m, while Sassuolo view them as being worth €18-20m and €2-3m respectively.

The Emilian side also have Berardi, who they’d demand at least €50m for and it’s thought he is intrigued by the possibility of joining Napoli.

The idea would be to close a deal today and leave Berardi at Sassuolo for another year on loan, but it won’t be easy to get a deal done.

Given the number of players potentially involved, just one refusal could cause a deal to collapse, and the forward earns €2m per season at Mapei Stadium.
