Napoli have selected Elseid Hysaj over Lorenzo Tonelli in their squad for this season’s Champions League group stage.
Hysaj and Tonelli both ended up staying at Napoli after the transfer window had closed, but Carlo Ancelotti has sided with the former.
The Albanian is one of the Partenopei’s longest-serving players, but he has fallen behind Kevin Malcuit and new arrival Giovanni Di Lorenzo in the pecking order at right-back.

Elsewhere, Fernando Llorente is confirmed as the club’s No 9 following his free transfer.
Napoli will play Red Bull Salzburg, Racing Genk and European champions Liverpool in Group E.
