Napoli are preparing for their Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt and saw positive signs from Kim Min-Jae and Alex Meret.

The Italian goalkeeper did not take part in the win over Atalanta after suffering an issue in the warm-up, whilst the Korean defender limped off the pitch in the 76th minute and was later seen holding an ice pack on the bench.

The two players are a key reason why Napoli’s defence has looked so strong this season and both did well in the first leg of their Round of 16 tie with Eintracht.

Calciomercato.com highlights how both Kim and Meret started this morning’s training session with their Napoli teammates before splitting away to carry out individual work, showing some positive signs ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Eintracht.

Giacomo Raspadori worked on his recovery and will not take part in the Champions League match, but Hirving Lozano may return after completing the entire session with the squad.
